Daniel Sathre, J.D. – Chief Legal Counsel

Mr. Sathre was named SEPMI’s Chief Legal Counsel in September of 2023. He brings a broad range and depth of legal experience to our team developed through fifteen years of robust complex corporate law and commercial litigation practice at multiple large national law firms. Mr. Sathre’s experience includes representation of both large and small business enterprises including Fortune 100 companies, multi-national financial institutions and startup concerns at all phases including corporate structuring, organization, governance, institutional risk management and mitigation, through resolution of pre-litigation disputes and litigation in state and federal courts. Mr. Sathre’s specialized experience and knowledge in the fields of corporate structuring and governance, contract negotiation, government relations, regulatory compliance, risk management/mitigation, mergers and acquisitions and labor law are significant assets to our team.

Mr. Sathre offers deep construction, energy and finance industry experience from over a decade of working with in-house corporate legal departments and executive teams for builders, design professionals, securitized investment trusts, large international financial institutions, steel manufacturers, insurance companies, energy project financiers, entrepreneurs and investors.

Mr. Sathre is based in Minneapolis, MN. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
